Below I list the course objectives and my response to my success or future goals for online teaching and learnings.
Expected Student Outcomes: Upon completing the course, the students should be able to:
Use WebCT functions to perform tasks and activities involved in typical online courses;

Yes can do that. Most useful resources are about characteristics of a good online course; foundations toward a theory of online learning and the seven principles for successful online teaching and learning. - Evaluate their potential for success as an online teacher;
Judging by the teaching styles inventory and my personal reactions and success with this medium, I would suggest that I am suited to this medium. My profile is facilitator, expert, delegator. There is another good brief article about teaching styles here. - Discuss the current technologies used in online learning;
A multitude of technologies are available. There are many important considerations for using media and technological resources. Static resources (PDF, Photo, HTML) can suffice with good solid content, a small budget and students who will have low technology access. More sophisticated media include digital imaging, podcast and stream audio, video and so many more. A few resources to recall this infomation are podcasts, macromedia flash, e-learning 2.0, and an overall summary. I liked the 10 predictions for online learning too. This is not an outcome that I have excelled in. But I now know what I do not know. So onwards with this certificate course... - Utilize online learning technologies from the student perspective;
After reviewing all of the student learning styles I realized that all content must provide and scaffold so that different learning opportunities are available to cover not only different knowledge levels but different learning capabilities and styles. Similarly all assessment tasks must be varied and well planned to cater to the various students. This takes time. This might be done best as the subject progresses and it is run over and over and evolves in content and assessment tasks. - Select technical strategies that align with different learning styles;

An ongoing goal as I try to integrate information from numerous sources into my courses. - Evaluate their interest and readiness to engage in online teaching. I am interested and motivated to continue building skills in this medium, which is just as well because it is taking over education at the tertiary sector.
